The West Village is bound by Gansevoort St. and 14th Street on the north side, Houston St. on the south side, West St. on the west side, and Sixth Ave. on the east side. Some would argue that Seventh Ave. marks the eastern border. To the north of the West Village you will find the Meatpacking District and Chelsea, to the east is Greenwich Village, to the south is the Charlton-King-Van Dam Historic District and Hudson Square, and to the west is Hudson River Park and the Hudson River.
